Maid of Honor:

Hannah and Iris met in 2004. They weren't friends right away because they were/are 2 different people. But with people coming and going in a military church Hannah and Iris soon found each other and became good friends. They have many memories of jokingly arguing, talking way to much and taking long walks where their parents were getting worried....they only got lost once.

10 years later Hannah gets to be Iris' maid of honor and celebrate this special day with her.

Bridesmaid:

Erin and Iris met in 2002 when Erin's family first joined the church. Because of 5 year age difference they were more like sisters than friends at first. Erin and Iris have funny memories of playing house together...."Grandma" to be exact. As Iris grew became a teenager the age difference was a big deal and really had no interest hanging out with Erin. As time went by Erin grew up and Iris saw what a wonderful friend she was and just how much they have in common. Now you don't see them playing "Grandma" anymore but sitting around the piano playing and singing together.

Bridesmaid (sister of the groom)

Hannah is the youngest of Patrick's family and the only girl from 6 brothers. Due to Patrick and Iris meeting in Germany and living in different countries, Iris did not get to meet Patrick's family right away but from the very beginning she saw that his little sister Hannah had a special place in his heart. Whenever Iris went to visit Patrick's family Hannah was her friend to hang out with. She was always a willing and fun chaperon in Patrick's and Iris' adventures and date nights. She had to listen to gooey "I love you's" and watching them stare into each others eyes.

Now she get's hang out with them again on their very special "date" and watch them stare into each others eyes as they exchange their vows.

Nathan and Patrick met in a home school group when they were around 12 years old but friendship came later. Their families ended up living in the same small town. As young adults Patrick started getting together with Nathan's family and their good friends. Before long they were all meeting up regularly and they all became a close knit group. Casual acquaintances turned into strong friendships, especially his friendship with Nathan. What bonds them is not only the fun they have together but their sincere love for the Lord and how much it is involved in their lives. Being close friends for almost 10 years now, they have many inside jokes & funny stories to tell. Nathan is willing to spend the ticket money too see his good friend Patrick marry and I know they will make many more inside jokes & have more funny stories to tell in the future....because where Nathan is....their is laughter.
